Chicago-based vocalist Colby Beserra and NYC keyboard whiz Dan
Lipton bring their strong musicality and love of a good song
to the Jukebox Saloon.
Inspired by the Tony Bennett/Bill Evans duo records, this pair
of pros strips down and re-interprets their favorite songs. Beserra
and Lipton create unique, jazzed-out arrangements of songs you
know as well as songs they'd like you to hear.
Their debut album from 2006 features songs by Beck, Cowboy Junkies,
Led Zeppelin, John Hartford, Paul McCartney and more.
For Volume 2, coming in late 2008, they will be expanding to
a piano-bass-drums trio. |
